| I believe that more money needs to be spent on our education system as well as the transportation system in the state. If we want our children to value education, we must value education. That just might mean spending money. Many of our roads and bridges need updating, which also means spending tax payers money. | |||

| I feel that Marijuana should be handled like any other narcotic, prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacist. When it comes to minors, I think their age should be taken into account. I feel that the acts of a 10 year old are much different than that of a 17 year old. | |||

I feel that we need to spend money on our infrastructure, which will in turn put some people on the unemployment roster back to work. I also feel that we need to give tax breaks to newly formed small businesses, to help them in their first couple of years, to get established. | |||

Public tax monies should only go to public schools. Charter schools need to be opened on the approval to be different from regular public schools. They should get the same per-student rate as the public school. they should not receive any capital funding. They should be held accountable for success just as public schools are. In the future, immigrants will become citizens and if educated will add to our economy. | |||

| In Japan, they spend only 8% of the GNP on health care and cover everyone, with very good coverage. In the USA we spend 18%, and don't cover all, or to the effect that Japan does. The entire health care system needs an overhaul. I look at the Affordable Care Act as one of the steps to revamp the system. Using Marijuana for medical purposes should be done like any other drug, prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacist. Everyone must be covered for us to have a healthy nation | |||

My fear with same-sex marriage is that a minister will be made to preform these marriages even though their religious doctrine is against it. The good people of this district deserve clear and focused representation in Dover. I am just an average hard working man who thinks its time for the down to earth, sensible people, like me, to be heard in Dover instead of career politicians, like my opponent. I believe that most of our problems need a common sense approach to solve them. I will work hard to find reasonable solutions to our current problems. |
